Facilities

We pride ourselves on offering quality and practical facilities. Each unit is self contained, with its own front door, kitchen and cloakroom/washroom facilities. This allows everyone to be independent and establish their own image within their own premises. Parking, lighting and landscaping are provided all around the site. Each unit has its own security system fully maintained and linked to an emergency callout centre.

The original barns, dating back 200 years, have now been upgraded to a high standard with modern windows, insulation and heating, to optimise the ergonomics. They are built with traditional materials of stone, red bricks and slate. Old features of wood beams, feature brick and stone walling and large barn doorways have been maintained and incorporated when the units have been refurbished, giving the buildings individuality and a feeling of being long established.

The Old Barns, comprising of 10 units, have kept their charm and traditions. The original courtyards between the barns have been maintained to provide a neighbourly feel to the site. Front doors are well lit and covered by attractive porches.

We strive to accommodate new tenants specific needs and tastes, in both layout and decor as far as feasibly possible, when they first join us.

There are 15 purpose built units in Orchard House offering workshop, storage facilities and offices. Some have been joined together to provide larger areas. These were built by 1999 and are finished in red brick with a theme and style sympathetic to the existing site.

Existing tenants are always given first refusal on other premises within the site that become available, and many businesses on site have grown and expanded along with Lodge Farm Business Centre itself.

Castlethorpe offers various facilities including a Pub and Village Shop & Post Office.
